Need honest Just Play app reviews and user experiences

I’ve been seeing a lot of mixed information about the Just Play app and I’m unsure if it’s legit or worth my time. Some people say they earn real rewards, others mention issues with payouts or glitches. Can anyone share honest Just Play app reviews, including payment proof, problems you’ve faced, and whether customer support actually helps when something goes wrong?

Used it on and off for about 4 months, here is how it went for me.

Device: Android, midrange phone.
Games: Mostly the ones they promote inside the app, simple puzzle and idle games.

  1. Is it legit
Yes, it paid me. I cashed out 4 times through PayPal.
    Payouts I got:
    • 2x $5
    • 1x $10
    • 1x $2 gift card
All arrived within 24 to 48 hours. No missing payments for me.

  2. How much you earn
This is where people get annoyed.
Early on, I hit about $5 in a week, playing around 30 to 45 minutes per day while watching TV.
After that, the rate dropped a lot.
    Example from my notes:
    • Week 1: about $5 for 4 to 5 hours total.
    • Week 2: about $3 for 5 to 6 hours total.
    • By week 4: less than $1 per week unless I tried new games they pushed.

So if you expect more than a few dollars per week, you will be dissapointed.

  1. Glitches and issues
    What I saw:
    • Tracking sometimes failed if I switched to another app or locked the screen. Needed to keep the game open.
    • Once, my points did not update for a day. Next day they synced, so it worked, but it was annoying.
    • Ads sometimes froze the game. Had to restart to keep tracking going.
Tip: Turn off battery optimization for the app in your phone settings. It helped with tracking.

  2. Payout limits and rules
    • They had small cash out options, which is good, like $2 to $5.
    • If your account looks inactive for a while, they slow down the offers. I saw less high paying games after I stopped for a week.
    • They do not like VPNs. People on forums said they got flagged or banned when they used VPN or emulators.

  3. Worth your time or not
    Good for:
    • You if you already play mobile games and do not care about small payouts.
    • People who want a few bucks for coffee over a month or two.

Bad for:
• Anyone expecting side income.
• People who get stressed if tracking fails or payouts take a day longer.
• People on older phones. Lag plus ads makes it painful.

  1. Quick tips if you try it
    • Stick to the featured games that show higher rewards per minute.
    • Do not leave games running in the background. Actively play, or at least tap around.
    • Screenshot your balance before and after long sessions. Helps if support ever asks for details.
    • Aim for low cash out goals like $2 or $5. Do not hoard huge balances for months.

My take: It pays, but the hourly rate is low, and the slowdown over time is real. Treat it like a small perk while you kill time, not like a job.

Used it for around 2 months pretty consistently, then uninstalled. My experience overlaps with @vrijheidsvogel’s in some ways, but not completely.

  1. Legitness
    Yes, it’s real. I got 3 payouts:
    • $5 PayPal
    • $5 PayPal
    • $3 gift card
All arrived in 24 hours or so. No rejected payments, no weird “reviewing your account” nonsense. So from a “is it a scam” angle, I’d say no, it’s not.

  2. Earnings reality
Where I disagree a bit: I didn’t even hit the “nice” early rates they mentioned.
First week for me was around $3 for maybe 4–5 hours of total play over the week. After that it dropped into “why am I still doing this” territory. Once the novelty was gone and I wasn’t trying every new game they shoved at me, the earning rate just cratered.

If you’re in a cheap country or have low ad value, it can be even worse. That part no one advertises.

  1. Tech issues
Glitches were my main reason for quitting:
    • Tracking stopped whenever I got a notification and swapped apps for more than ~10 seconds.
    • Sometimes it said “session not counted” for no clear reason.
    • One whole evening of playing never showed in my balance. Support replied with a copy‑paste answer about “offer provider tracking,” which was useless. That was the final straw for me.

I know @vrijheidsvogel had points sync the next day. Mine never did, so your mileage really varies.

  1. Time vs reward
If you do the math honestly, you’re looking at something like 20–40 cents an hour once the honeymoon period is over, sometimes less. That is below “washing dishes while listening to a podcast” level of value. If you enjoy the games anyway, it’s a tiny bonus. If you are playing only for the money, you’re going to feel ripped off pretty quick.

  2. Who it makes sense for
    Worth it if:
    • You already waste time on simple mobile games and do not care if you earn pennies.
    • You like seeing small progress bars and tiny payouts for motivation.

Not worth it if:
• You’re hoping for side income, even tiny side income.
• You hate tracking bugs or arguing with support.
• You have an older device. The lag + ads combo is brutal.

  1. My take in one line
Legit, but pays very little and gets worse over time. Treat it as “pocket change for time you were going to waste anyway,” not a money app. If that expectation sounds fine to you, then sure, try it. If not, skip and save yourself the annoyance.
